Singing the unharmonious nursery rhyme, the Dragon Boat Festival.

Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival, there is such an inharmonious nursery rhyme in putian, the beginning of the Dragon Boat Festival begins in May. Starting from the first, every family began to busy, ready for the Dragon Boat Festival supplies, though not many, the most let people snaked through nature is the Dragon Boat Festival food.

The first thought of the Dragon Boat Festival is zongzi. The dumplings are lovely, salty and sweet. I am not interested in meat dumplings, but have a special liking for glutinous rice dumplings, especially the big dates, and always make the big ones. The aroma of glutinous rice is interspersed with the fragrance of the leaf of the grass, and it is a sweet bite, and it has a taste in the mouth. At the end of the Dragon Boat Festival, grandma moved to wrap up N zongzi and let me get my mouth full. Also have around Shouting in the street, but selling zongzi is much smaller than in the home, but very expensive, the dates in the glutinous rice reed, it should not, seems to put the two peanuts over it. Sometimes the mouth is hungry, go down the street to buy one to solve the food, but no longer have that kind of aftertaste.

In addition to the fragrant zongzi, the new dress is also a great beauty. Take a large pot of hot water and soak it in a large pot of hay and then change into a new one. Although I still wear clothes that go through N times, the smell is still irresistible.

We can't see the dragon boat race here. It's a great pity of the Dragon Boat Festival. But we found new fun soon. Throw an egg contest. The eggs of the Dragon Boat Festival are no longer to be eaten, but to be smashed, or to be met more stiffer than anyone, either to be a bullet, to aim at the fire. When the event came to a close, there was only a lot of devastation and a lot of fun.

On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, the mother will make a basket with the roots and fine lines, according to the custom of the past, make up 8 layers, the grandma cooks the egg and then takes out three of the most smooth. I put one on the bottom, and then the peaches. Each of these is three, and it's six. The second floor is a walking tiger, which is the care of these things. Finally hang in the doorway, according to the elder, remember qu yuan. When he had taken it, he put the basket in a box and was reunited with her sister who was born earlier.

In the first five days of the day, the Dragon Boat Festival is over.

Duanwu Festival (端午節(jié), Duānwū Jié) is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. It is also known as the Double Fifth.[citation(引用;引證) needed] It has since been celebrated, in various ways, in other parts of East Asia as well. In the West, it's commonly known as Dragon Boat Festival. The exact origins of Duan Wu are unclear, but one traditional view holds that the festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan (c. 340 BC-278 BC) of the Warring States Period. He committed suicide by drowning himself in a river because he was disgusted by the corruption of the Chu government. The local people, knowing him to be a good man, decided to throw food into the river to feed the fish so they would not eat Qu's body. They also sat on long, narrow paddle boats called dragon boats, and tried to scare the fish away by the thundering sound of drums aboard the boat and the fierce looking carved dragon head on the boat's prow(船頭). In the early years of the Chinese Republic, Duan Wu was also celebrated as "Poets' Day," due to Qu Yuan's status as China's first poet of personal renown(名聲名望). Today, people eat bamboo-wrapped steamed glutinous(粘的) rice dumplings called zongzi (the food originally intended to feed the fish) and race dragon boats in memory of Qu's dramatic death.

At the center of this festival are the dragon boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums.

These exciting races were inspired by the villager's valiant attempts to rescue Chu Yuan from the Mi Lo river. This tradition has remained unbroken for centuries.

Tzung Tzu A very popular dish during the Dragon Boat festival is tzung tzu.

This tasty dish consists of rice dumplings with meat, peanut, egg yolk, or other fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves.

The tradition of tzung tzu is meant to remind us of the village fishermen scattering rice across the water of the Mi Low river in order to appease the river dragons so that they would not devour Chu Yuan.
